Presented Throughout the Masonic Family
This award may be presented by any participating Masonic Family organization to any deserving individual, whether a Mason or non Mason, whose commitment to young people deserves lasting recognition.
The Symbolism of the Medal
The Youth Advocate Award is rich in symbolism, reflecting both the teachings of Cryptic Masonry and the lifelong impact of those who guide future generations.
Guiding Hands
The medal depicts the hand of an adult guiding the smaller hand of a child, illustrating mentorship, encouragement, and the responsibility to pass knowledge and values to the next generation.
The Trowel
The trowel symbolizes building character and spreading the cement of Brotherly Love, reminding us that young lives are strengthened through patience, instruction, and example.
Golden Laurel Wreath
A golden laurel wreath surrounds the design, representing honor, excellence, and lasting achievement bestowed upon those who faithfully serve youth.
The Pinecone
At the base rests the pinecone, an enduring symbol of growth, renewal, and the continuing cycle of life, reminding us that investing in young people ensures a brighter future for generations yet to come.
