Recognizing Service Across the Masonic Family

Three award programs created by the General Grand Council to help Masonic organizations honor those who serve our youth, our communities, and our country.

The General Grand Council has created three programs designed to work cooperatively with any recognized organization within the Masonic Family that wishes to participate. These programs highlight and honor service to our communities and may be awarded to members and non-members alike.

  • Say “thank you” to those who serve future generations, first responders, or the military.
  • Introduce community members to a Masonic organization in a positive and personal manner.

These awards are designed to recognize individuals who are active in our communities, contribute to and preserve fundamental aspects of society, and represent the kind of service with which Masons are proud to associate.

Youth Advocate Award

For those who have served their community as teachers, youth group volunteers, coaches, Scouters, mentors, or in other roles helping future generations.

Each award may be engraved on the back with the recipient’s name, year, and sponsoring organization.

These awards are presented from the sponsoring organization, with certificates identifying the Lodge, Chapter, Council, Commandery, Eastern Star Chapter, youth group, or other participating body. Certificates are signed by the presiding officer and Secretary.

Each presentation includes the medal, lapel pin, presentation box, and certificate. A Cryptic Mason must submit the request, unless a Cryptic Mason is the recipient.

$50.00 per complete presentation package. The Veterans Medal and First Responder Recognition also have less expensive alternatives available.

Permission to work with the organization must be given by the jurisdictional head of that organization. Please contact your Ambassador or Grand Recorder to ensure that the awards are permitted to be presented.
